What's So Special About Our Wire Shelving?
Our system was the first ventilated wire shelving system introduced into the Australian shelving market around 20 years ago. What sets our wire shelving system apart is it's double powder coated epoxy coating, providing outstanding durability and resistance to staining or discoloration and rust. Wardrobe Choice's installation techniques provide a solid, well braced, non flimsy shelving system that is designed to allow greater ventilation for linen and clothing as well as strength for general storage. Available in white or silver, our ventilated wire shelving also looks very smart and contemporary in comparison to other shelving on the market.
Is Ventilated Wire Shelving Strong?
Our ventilated wire shelving system is stronger than conventional timber shelving, satisfying the Australian standards for shelving and components in the Building industry. The system is fixed directly on to painted gyprock walls, concrete or block work. Ventilated wire shelving is incorporated by Wardrobe Choice into shelving designs that transfer weight directly to the floor or braced directly on to internal timber stud framing wherever applicable, to give maximum support.
Is Ventilated Wire Shelving Expensive?
No! Compared to conventional painted chipboard shelving or melamine shelving on wall cleats with gap sealant, Wardrobe Choice have saved Builders and private clientele up to 20% on materials and labour for supply and installation. On average it's value is comparable to most other shelving installed in the industry and in a lot of cases, looks better.
How Long Does Ventilated Wire Shelving Take to Install?
It depends on the individual design. In most standard designs consisting of 3 or 4 Bedrooms, 2 Linens and a Pantry, around 4 - 6 hours cut and install on site. Time and labour vary in each individual quotation according to the complexity of the design.
Do You Supply Wire Baskets As Well?
YES! Wardrobe Choice supplies a range of high quality wire basket sets that are designed to match our shelving systems. We also mix and match to install with other ventilated shelving systems.
How Do I Get a Design And Quote?
Simply click here or go to the "Shop Online" option in the menu at the top of this website and fill out the form then hit send. This will be forwarded to our experienced design team who will contact you as soon as is practical in relation to demand (usually within 24 - 48 hours for standard quotes and enquiries, or a little longer for larger or more complex needs).
We can also be contacted by phone or email. We do recommend that a clear A4 size floor plan of your house with clear robe dimensions be available, with a general description of your design requirements if possible. However, our design team is ready to discuss design options and layouts with you from scratch.
We are also available to come to your home, or arrange an appointment in our displays, where you can view our range of shelving systems in realistic wardrobe displays.
